1:30-9:55 Listener mail: podcasting technical improvements
Heidi excuses her slow email responses; Preston Bowman gives advice on technical improvements for the show, and Heidi promises to share her research on broadcast-quality mikes and how they interface to a laptop/PC. And thanks again to BuzzCutz Audio for those professional sounders!
9:55-14:30 Listener mail: relationship selling and trust
Rylan Harris writes in about relationship selling and engenders a talk on price and trust; Heidi shares a story of one excellent contractor out of five who managed to both get information and establish a relationship over a brief phone conversation.
14:30-17:55 Topic: Relationship marketing
Jim Berger's article, Thoughts on Relationship Marketing,is thought-provoking, especially the bit on complaints helping relationships. Consider this:

He points out that in even the best of relationships nobody is ever “that satisfied” especially over a long period of time. “The absence of candor,” Levitt writes, “reflects the decline or trust and the deterioration of the relationship..."
And don't forge to click on Dr. Wiglaf's Top 6 Relationship Management Issues.
17:55-21:20 Topic: How to capture an expert's value
Great tips from a professional consultant on how to get the most out of your consultant. [link to come]
21:20-26:05 Topic: Thought leadership
OK, the phrase "thought leadership" makes me roll my eyes with its buzzwordiness, but in this Blue Flavor blog entry, the author actually gives great advice on establishing yourself as an expert in an area of interest by blogging.
26:05-27:05 Resource: Podcast player
Sallie Goetsch, the Authorizer and Collabo-writer (authorizer.fileslinger.com), wrote in to suggest a podcast player you can pop right on your website from Big Contact. I like that listeners can subscribe directly from the player. Nifty!
