Sad day

It is a sad, sad day.

Yesterday, as I attempted to drop the last minute of audio into a perfectly-created podcast, my computer suddenly crashed. After an entire afternoon/evening running back and forth to various Apple stores (who knew the one in Oak Brook had closed?), it was determined that the hard drive had failed.

And so, too, had my external hard drive, which had only backup up a portion of my data.

And so my best and dearest friend, my iBook G4, will be in the shop for a week. DSSP will be on hiatus until my buddy is delivered back to me, hopefully with at least some of the original files intact.

Let us observe a moment of silence for my best friend's sad state.
