3:00 Topic: Finding your voice
Having trouble sounding like yourself for your presentation? Do people say you come across as stiff or boring? Heidi corrects a few misconceptions about presenting and how to find your own authentic voice. First, "professional" does not equal "stiff and impersonal." Making mistakes is fine; it's human. Second, what is the fear? Perhaps that people won't like you if you relax and have fun? Truth is that some people won't like you, anyway, so you might as well be yourself. Third, remember that passion is a magent--your passion will speak far more loudly than any false "professionalism" you're trying to put on.
8:30 And finally, Heidi's step-by-step for finding your voice.
